A small-business office: a woman taking a call on a desk phone at reception while colleagues work at shared desks behind her.

Corinne by Reverie Tech

Phones that work.
People who answer.

A complete phone system for small and mid‑sized businesses — desk phones, auto‑attendants, voicemail that arrives as text, and business texting from your main number. Calls are encrypted by default and every change is audited. And when something does go wrong, you reach the people who built it.

Encrypted end to end Every change audited Keep your numbers Support from real people

Why we built it

We needed a phone system we could stand behind

Reverie Tech has supported other people’s phone systems for years. The recurring problems were always the same three. Encryption was an optional extra. 911 sent responders to the wrong building. And nobody could tell you what actually happened on a call. Corinne exists because those three are not features. They are the job.

Encrypted, not “encryption‑ready”

Every call leg is TLS‑signaled and SRTP‑encrypted, including inside your own office. Unencrypted SIP is not a configuration we support — there is no cheaper tier where your calls travel in the clear.

Built for work that gets audited

Every configuration change records who made it, what it was before, and where they were. The log is append‑only. Recordings and voicemail are encrypted with your own keys and purged on your schedule.

Voicemail transcribed on our hardware

Messages are transcribed by speech recognition running on our own equipment, reachable only from inside it. Your customers’ voices are not shipped to a third‑party transcription service.

The people who built it answer

Corinne is not resold. Reverie Tech builds it, runs it and supports it. A problem with your phones is not a ticket handed to a vendor you have never spoken to.

The console

You can see and change all of it

Not a ticket to us every time somebody joins. This is the real Corinne console — extensions, the emergency address each one presents, which ones are recorded, and how many devices are registered.

The Corinne admin console showing eight extensions for a company, each with its emergency address, outbound caller ID, voicemail state and recording policy.

Extensions for one company. Every change here is written to an audit log with who made it and what it was before.

Security & compliance

The questions a compliance officer asks

Reverie Tech’s day job is keeping other people’s systems from being broken into. A phone system handles more sensitive material than most people expect: what a customer said, who they said it to, and when.

  • Encrypted everywhere, including your own network. Every call leg is TLS‑signaled and SRTP‑encrypted. There is no cheaper tier where calls inside your building travel in the clear.
  • Your recordings, your keys. Voicemail and recordings are encrypted where they are stored, with keys belonging to your company rather than one key across the platform.
  • An audit trail nobody can tidy. Every change records the person, the change, the previous value and the source address. Append‑only, including for us.
  • Retention you set, with a legal hold. Content is purged automatically when it expires, and specific items can be exempted when a dispute needs them kept.
  • Voices stay on our hardware. Transcription runs on equipment we own. Your customers’ recordings are not sent to a third‑party service, which removes a subprocessor from the conversation entirely.

How security works

Per‑company
Encryption keys for recordings and voicemail
Append‑only
The audit log cannot be edited after the fact
Off by default
Recording stays off until somebody with the authority turns it on
Our hardware
Transcription never leaves the platform
And emergency calling, done properly. Direct 911 dialing, on‑site notification, a dispatchable location and a permanent record. It matters most if you occupy more than one building — tell us early. How it works.

Corinne runs in a datacenter certified to SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. That is the facility’s certification, covering physical access, power and environmental controls. Corinne’s own software has not been through its own audit, and we would rather draw that line ourselves than have procurement draw it for us.

Voicemail

Read your voicemail. Don’t sit through it.

A message arrives in the portal as text alongside the audio. You can skim a voicemail in four seconds instead of playing ninety of them back in order.

The transcription runs on Reverie’s own hardware, reachable only from inside our platform. That matters more than it sounds: hosted voicemail transcription usually means uploading a recording of your customer’s voice to a third party. Corinne does not do that.

It will not make things up. Speech recognition is confident even when it is wrong — hand most models thirty seconds of hold music and they will return a plausible sentence. Ours checks whether anyone actually spoke before it writes anything down, so silence comes back as silence rather than as invented evidence on a customer’s record.

“Hi, it’s Sam calling about the quote you sent over on Thursday. We’d like to go ahead, but I’ve got a question about the install date — can you give me a call back on this number? Thanks.”

Moving over

Already have a phone system?

So did we. Corinne was built while Reverie Tech moved its own clients off the system they were on. So we have thought hardest about the awkward parts. Re‑using the desk phones you already own. Porting numbers without a dead afternoon. Rebuilding menus somebody configured four years ago.

  • Keep your desk phones where they support encrypted SIP. We re‑provision them in place rather than shipping you a box of new hardware.
  • Keep your numbers. We port them, and we run both systems side by side until the port completes.
  • No license tier to guess at. You are not buying a simultaneous‑call bracket a year ahead and hoping you picked right.

How a move actually goes

We inventory what you have

Extensions, numbers, desk phone models, call flows, and your busiest hour, so nothing is discovered halfway through.

We build it alongside

Your new system is configured and tested while the old one keeps running. Nothing is switched off to find out whether this works.

We move numbers on a date you choose

Ports are scheduled, not gambled. Calls land on the new system when the port completes, not when a maintenance window expires.

Where Corinne is today

An honest status report

Corinne is live, carrying real calls over a real carrier, and Reverie Tech is onboarding its first customers now. We would rather tell you what is finished and what is not than discover the gap together after you have signed.

Working today
  • Calls to and from the public phone network, in both directions, encrypted
  • Desk phones that configure themselves from their MAC address
  • Voicemail, stored encrypted and transcribed
  • Emergency calling with dispatchable location and a permanent record
  • Business texting with carrier registration and opt‑out handling
  • Customer portal and per‑role access, with every change audited
On the way
  • Calling from your browser. Built and tested, but no customer has used it yet, so we do not count it as shipped.
  • A mobile app. Not built. Today, mobile means a standard SIP app or your desk phone forwarding to your cell.
  • Desk phones beyond Grandstream. Grandstream is proven on real hardware. Yealink is built to the vendor’s documentation but not yet field‑tested; ask us before assuming a model works.
  • Integrations with your other software. The groundwork is there; no public interface yet.

Why we publish this

Let’s talk about your phones

Tell us how many people you have, what handsets are on their desks, and what annoys you about the system you are on now. We will tell you plainly whether Corinne is a good fit.
