Guides and help
Short, practical guides for the things people actually need to do. If what you want is not here, ask us, and we will add it.

Quick answers
How do I transfer a call?
Press Transfer, dial the extension, then either hang up to
send the call straight through, or wait for them to answer, announce the
caller, and then hang up. Both work — the second is politer.
More on desk phones.
How do I check my voicemail?
Easiest: open the portal and read the transcript. From your own desk phone,
dial
*97 — it opens your own mailbox with no PIN, because
your phone has already proven who it is.

My phone shows "not registered". What now?
Nearly always the network rather than the phone. Check the cable, then
check whether other things in the office can reach the internet. If the
office is fine and one phone is not, unplug it for ten seconds and plug it
back in. If it is still unhappy after that, contact us — do not start
changing settings on the handset.
We are moving office. What do we need to tell you?
Tell us before you move, and tell us the new street
address. Emergency calls are routed to the address registered for your
location, so this is the single most important change to pass on. It is not
something you can update yourself, by design.
Somebody has left. What should happen to their extension?
An administrator can disable the user in the portal, which stops the
credential working immediately. Decide separately where their calls should
go, usually their department group or a colleague — because a
disabled extension with no forward is a call that rings nowhere.

Can I use my Corinne extension from home?
Yes, with a softphone we help you set up, or by taking your desk phone home.
One important caveat: a phone away from the office still presents the
office address if 911 is dialed. For emergencies from home, use your
mobile. Why this happens.
These guides are being written as customers onboard. If you
hit something that is not covered, tell us — that is how the missing page
gets written, and you will get a direct answer in the meantime.
